It has been ten years since we established the Diversity Charter in the Czech Republic and together with reponsible companies we have reinforced the promotion of the principles of diversity, inclusion and corporate social responsibility. In the historical hall of the New Town Hall we reminisced about the beginnings of this key European document - and in the final debate, representatives of the first signatories took the floor.

By signing the Diversity Charter, the new signatories confirm their commitment to create an open, welcoming and non-discriminatory working environment for all employees. The signatories of the Diversity Charter become part of more than 130 mostly large international and domestic companies and companies that subscribe to the Charter and for the 10th year have significantly influenced innovative trends and approaches on the Czech labour market.

The BPS platform called "Future is Female" organized the first roundtable on Women in Media. The leaked data was presented by Marína Urbániková, assistant professor at the Department of Media Studies and Journalism at Masaryk University. It shows that the situation of women working in the Czech media is not good.

The Alliance of Responsible Businesses Business for Society organized a unique debate on the topic of the circular economy in the Czech Republic at the Malostranská beseda. Specifically on the upcoming amendment to the Packaging Act, which should introduce a backup system for PET bottles and cans. The Czech Republic would thus join the 16 European countries where the system is already in place. In 12 other countries, its introduction is currently under preparation.

The Ministry of the Environment has prepared a new draft law on the deposit system for PET bottles and cans. On February 28, a debate with experts on the issue will take place at the Malostranská beseda in Prague.
