Nejlépe byly letos v ratingu TOP Odpovědná velká firma vyhodnoceny společnosti Plzeňský Prazdroj, a. s. a Československá obchodní banka, a.s. TOP Odpovědné malé firmě pak vévodila společnost Accace s.r.o.

Philip Morris: Don't be afraid of diversity, it's good for business
Philip Morris ČR is the first company in the Czech Republic to receive the prestigious Equal-Salary certification, which is awarded by the Swiss EQUAL-SALARY Foundation as an independent confirmation of equal pay for men and women in equal positions. Andrea Gontkovic, Chairman of the Board and CEO, and Michaela Prajerová, P&C Manager, described the process the company went through as part of the audit at a joint meeting of responsible companies. The event was organised by Business for Society as part of its networking programme BPS Café.

Will the next James Bond ride in an electric car? It's inevitable, think executives at Hyundai
Electromobility is the future, and the only way to move Europe towards the goal of reducing transport emissions by 90 percent by 2050. This was the consensus of the participants in the debate "Electromobility and a fair green transformation", which took place last week at the Hyundai car plant in Nosovice. The famous 007 film agent James Bond was also present. According to top Hyundai executives, it is almost inevitable that he will eventually switch to an electric car.

The unique debate was hosted by the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, and examples of good practice of responsible companies were also presented. Their representatives also pointed out a number of obstacles they encounter in promoting the principles of circular economy in the Czechia.

On Tuesday, 26 September, a unique debate will take place at the headquarters of the European Commission Representation in the Czech Republic with four Scandinavian ambassadors to the Czech Republic, who will debate and discuss the current trends and priorities of the circular economy in the Scandinavian countries as well as the context of the "Green Deal for Europe". The European perspective will be added by a representative of the EC Representation in the Czech Republic.

"The Danes have the lowest long-term unemployment rate of all EU countries. "The flexicurity model - a system based on a balance between a flexible labour market and social security - has helped significantly," said Søren Kelstrup, Denmark's ambassador to the Czech Republic, at Tuesday's debate in the Chamber of Deputies.
