This year’s edition launched a new tradition with the announcement of the Voice of Diversity – Byznys pro společnost Award, intended for individuals, companies and organisations with an extraordinary contribution to diversity, inclusion and responsible business, not only in the Czech Republic. The first recipients of the award were: Pavlína Kalousová, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Asahi Europe & International, for her extraordinary contribution to the development of diversity, inclusion and responsible business in the Czech Republic
Beko Manufacturing, s.r.o., for its unique and long-term successful integration programme supporting the employment of Roma people in a large international manufacturing company. (The award was accepted in person by Michal Major, CEO, and Jaroslav Grygar, Managing Director of the company.)
Petr Burda, Jiří Holzmann and Jaroslav Novotný (@Stounman29) for their courage, perspective and inspiring humour, through which they break down prejudice and change society’s view of the lives of people with disabilities.
European Diversity Day 2026, including the Diversity Charter Awards 2026, was held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry for Regional Development, the Government Commissioner for Human Rights, Taťána Malá, and the Government Commissioner for Roma Minority Affairs, Lucie Fuková. The event was supported in partnership by the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, ČEZ Group and IVECO Czech Republic, a.s.

European Diversity Day 2026 showed that the future of work is not shaped only by new technologies and artificial intelligence, but above all by the values with which companies use them. The conference in Prague recognized companies and personalities that actively develop diversity, inclusion and a responsible approach in the Czech labour market.

European Diversity Day 2025 – Diversity Charter Awards Announced!
As part of the traditional European Diversity Month, the highlight event once again was the international conference European Diversity Day 2025, organized by the responsible business platform Business for Society and the national coordinator of the Diversity Charter in the Czech Republic.

The Alliance for Responsible and Sustainable Business Business for Society awarded the TOP Responsible Companies of the Year 2024 at a gala evening in Prague's Grandior Hotel.
Three quarters of the population are in favour of a deposit system for PET bottles and cans, Ipsos survey confirms
76% of Czechs support the introduction of a deposit system for PET bottles and cans. There is high support for backup in all regions of the Czech Republic. This was confirmed in June by the largest Ipsos survey to date, which was conducted among a sample of 4,247 Czechs.
Corporate volunteers worked 1,805 hours on Give & Gain Day this year
290 corporate volunteers again helped non-profit organizations across the Czech Republic this year on 14 June. The event with a deep British tradition is organised annually by the responsible companies platform Business for Society, which connects the private and non-profit sectors through the Zapojimse.cz portal.
Women can no longer stand on the sidelines! We are launching the Female is Future platform
In the Chamber of Deputies, prominent women from responsible companies and signatories of the Diversity Charter, academia, public administration, media and other fields met with the Chairwoman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Markéta Pekarova Adamová to jointly present the newly emerging platform for women called "Future is Female." The event was organized by the alliance of responsible companies Business for Society.
