GIVE & GAIN HEROES Awards Celebrate Companies, Volunteers and Non-Profit Organizations Changing the World for the Better
Business for Society presented the GIVE & GAIN HEROES awards for the first time to those who have long been helping to change the world around them for the better – responsible companies, corporate volunteers and non-profit organizations. The revived tradition of the awards was created to highlight and support those who bring concrete help where it is needed most.
In the friendly and informal atmosphere of the meeting “On the Same Wavelength with Responsible Companies,” which followed this year’s Give & Gain Day – National Corporate Volunteering Day, we “symbolically celebrated” the power of cooperation between responsible business, corporate volunteers and the non-profit sector.
The GIVE & GAIN HEROES awards, alongside the prestigious TOP Responsible Company and Diversity Charter Awards, are becoming a new tradition of Business for Society. They are based on a simple but important belief: “good things should be seen.”
We recognized responsible companies, corporate volunteers and non-profit organizations that have been involved in corporate volunteering on a long-term and regular basis.
Among the awarded companies were Cocoon Prague, s.r.o., Česká podnikatelská pojišťovna, a.s., Vienna Insurance Group, ČEZ, a.s., COMMERZBANK Aktiengesellschaft, Prague Branch, Československá obchodní banka, a.s., Johnson & Johnson, s.r.o., Kinstellar, s.r.o., law firm, Kooperativa pojišťovna, a.s., Vienna Insurance Group, MONETA Money Bank, a.s. and Pluxee Česká republika, a.s.
With a symbolic badge, we also recognized the Ambassadors of Corporate Volunteering: Československá obchodní banka, a.s., Česká podnikatelská pojišťovna, a.s., Vienna Insurance Group, ČEZ a.s., Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s.

Special thanks also go to the prominent public figures who presented the awards: Eva Decroix, Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Lucie Fuková, Government Commissioner for Roma Minority Affairs and Nora Fridrichová, journalist and founder of the Šatník Praha – nadační fund initiative.
We would also like to thank the event partners for their support: Coca-Cola HBC Czech Republic and Slovakia and Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s. for beverage support, MUSA Catering for the excellent refreshments, and the venue partner Scott.Weber Workspace.
The entire evening was guided with sensitivity and energy by moderator and actress Anna Kulovaná, while DJ MeryEn created a wonderful musical atmosphere.
We would also like to thank Filip Jandourek for the excellent photographs, MinusJedna studio for filming, and v-h-s.cz for graphic cooperation.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this exceptional gathering. Thank you for helping us change the world for the better.
Did you know that the year 2026 has been declared by the United Nations (UN) the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development? The initiative highlights the essential role of volunteering in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promotes solidarity across society. Today, corporate volunteering is an important tool for responsible companies – it strengthens corporate culture, employee engagement and public trust.
