European Diversity Month 2022
How can your business or organisation participate in the European Diversity Month?
1. Organise your own activities
The best way to celebrate the European Diversity Month is for example to organise an internal event for your employees (or with their involvement), an event for the general public, your clients or suppliers, or to raise awareness among them of how diversity and inclusion are embraced in your organisation.
The Guide for European Diversity Month 2022 can be downloaded in Czech and English and will give you ideas how to celebrate European Diversity Month.
2. Let the whole of Europe know of your activities – include them in the Map of Events
Promoting diversity and creating inclusive workplaces is a long-term challenge and getting involved in the European Diversity Month gives you a great opportunity to increase the visibility of your efforts. Include your diversity and inclusion promoting activities organised in the month of May in the European Map of Events and help us raise the profile of all the activities taking place all over the EU.
3. Take part in the European Diversity Day and other events
The highlight of the May celebrations will be the traditional international conference: European Diversity Day “Diversity and Inclusion – Bridges to the Future of Work”. The conference will be held in the last week of May in the premises of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. As in previous years, the conference will offer an attractive programme and will be attended by interesting guests from business, political, academic and diplomatic circles, the European Commission and others. The programme will also include a ceremony for new signatories of the Diversity Charter.
European Diversity Month events:

4. Communicate, share, inspire
We are looking forward to you joining us and communicating your great projects within your organisations as well as to the wider world. This is an opportunity for you to show others what you are doing and to motivate and inspire them. Share your activities and let other organisations promoting the Diversity Month know about your efforts and inspire those who may still be hesitating but may join next year.
Remember to use the main hashtags #EUDiversityMonth, #EvropskyDenDiverzity and #Diverzita in your communication and feel free to also use the following ones #UnitedInDiversity, #DiversityCharters and #UnionOfEquality.

The European Diversity Month aims to promote all the Diversity Charter principles. We are deeply committed to improving workplace environments, fair and equal conditions at work and changing the mindset of employers and management. We want employers to understand that their employees are not mere human resources, first and foremost, they are people who have their own lives. Promoting humanity and genuine concern for others is a pathway to long-term sustainability. We want to encourage as many employers as possible to join the European Diversity Month. There are different options: companies can create a short video message, a written statement on the European Diversity Month, organise an event promoting diversity and inclusion – e.g. a day for different generations, parents at work day etc. We will happily support networking among individual signatories focusing on common topics during the Diversity Month and we will organise joint online workshops and webinars. Do not hesitate to contact us!
