Today we remember and celebrate
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!
International Women's Day is celebrated annually on March 8. We commemorate every year the anniversary of the 1908 seamstress strike in New York, as well as the great rally on March 8, 1908, for women's suffrage. In 115 years, the position of women in many countries has fundamentally changed and improved in terms of equal rights and equal status of women and men in society, at work.
But there is still something to change, there is still something to strive for, there are many women in the world who continue to face discrimination and restrictions on their basic rights. Not far from our borders in Ukraine, tens of thousands of Ukrainian women are fighting and dying for a free Ukraine and Europe in the war against the Russian aggressor. Hundreds of thousands of them had to flee to other countries, take care and protect their loved ones, their children, frightened by the brutal bombing of civilians, civilian objects and the brutal behavior of the Russian aggressors in Ukraine.
To all women today, we express admiration, respect, respect for their courage, strength, hard work and will to face and manage various obstacles and challenges in their lives and the lives of their loved ones. Every day, women all over the world demonstrate their uniqueness through their actions!
