This week we started a new tradition of networking meetings – Summer Get-Together of Diversity Charter Signatories. During the meeting we were pleased to acknowledge the signatories who took part in the 2021 Diversity Index and to present the plan of Business for Society activities for the second half of 2022. The event was a valuable opportunity to get together with other members within the Diversity Charter community and share our experiences. We discussed the results of the 2021 Diversity Index confirming the leadership of its signatories in driving current trends and innovation in the labour market.
Jaromír Staroba, Prague Capability Center Director of Anheuser-Busch InBev who kindly took on the role of the host of the event opened the meeting with his welcome speech. The participants were then addressed by H.E. Anna Azari, Ambassador of Israel to the Czech Republic, who accepted our invitation to speak. The Ambassador actively supports the topic of diversity in the Czech Republic and promotes the status of women in society, which she also talked about in her address.
We then returned to the 2021 Diversity Index, a unique ‘indicator’ of how companies set up, manage and develop diversity in their corporate culture. The Index also serves as a guide and inspiration for other employers and captures best practice in setting up diversity management in the Czech labour market. The Index represents a reflection of, and acts as the flagship of best practice as exercised by the Diversity Charter signatories. Read more about the Diversity Index here.

The official part of the meeting was closed by a short performance by American blues singer Juwana Jenkins.
