Crossroads 21: A Green Transition for All!
Debates on a Fair and Sustainable Future for All
Business for Society invites you to a new format of open debates on a fair and sustainable future. We live in the 21st century, a time of profound climate and social change. We find ourselves at a symbolic crossroads of values. The decisions we make today will significantly affect the quality of life of future generations. Together, we must seek solutions that are fair and sustainable in the long term.
This quarterly debate series will focus on the agenda of a “just green transition”—a transition that connects environmental protection, social cohesion, and a dignified life for all, without exception. Without open debate, there is a risk that the changes will have unequal impacts, deepen social divides, or remain only half-measures. The discussions will bring together perspectives from business, politics, academia, and civil society.
We would like to thank the Václav Havel Library for its support and cooperation. The symbolism of the library—associated with freedom of thought, human dignity, and civic responsibility—becomes the “home” of a new debate platform on the direction of a sustainable and democratic 21st-century society.
Come ask questions. Come debate. Come help shape a sustainable future.
Invitations to the opening debate of the series on 17 March 2025, from 15:00 to 17:00, have already been accepted by:
