In a world where technology and innovation are changing everything around at breakneck speed, it's time women seized the opportunities that education and careers in IT and STEM fields in general offer them.
We signed the Charter against Domestic Violence
The Charter against Domestic Violence was a joint initiative of Vodafone, IKEA and the ROSA Centre for Women, under the auspices of the Department for Gender Equality of the Office of the Government and the Government Commissioner for Human Rights. It brings together 16 stakeholders from companies, institutions and organisations that are involved in the prevention of domestic violence and also help their female employees and victims.

Největší platforma pro odpovědné a udržitelné podnikání v Česku Byznys pro společnost ocenila na slavnostním galavečeru v historických prostorách společenského Paspova sálu pivovaru Staropramen TOP Odpovědné firmy roku 2023. Nejlépe byly letos v ratingu TOP Odpovědná velká firma vyhodnoceny společnosti Plzeňský Prazdroj, a. s. a Československá obchodní banka, a.s. TOP Odpovědné malé firmě pak vévodila společnost Accace s.r.o.
Philip Morris: Don't be afraid of diversity, it's good for business
Philip Morris ČR is the first company in the Czech Republic to receive the prestigious Equal-Salary certification, which is awarded by the Swiss EQUAL-SALARY Foundation as an independent confirmation of equal pay for men and women in equal positions. Andrea Gontkovic, Chairman of the Board and CEO, and Michaela Prajerová, P&C Manager, described the process the company went through as part of the audit at a joint meeting of responsible companies. The event was organised by Business for Society as part of its networking programme BPS Café.
Will the next James Bond ride in an electric car? It's inevitable, think executives at Hyundai
Electromobility is the future, and the only way to move Europe towards the goal of reducing transport emissions by 90 percent by 2050. This was the consensus of the participants in the debate "Electromobility and a fair green transformation", which took place last week at the Hyundai car plant in Nosovice. The famous 007 film agent James Bond was also present. According to top Hyundai executives, it is almost inevitable that he will eventually switch to an electric car.

STEM is a relatively new concept and includes four disciplines - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Give women more space, strengthen the Czech labour market
In the Chamber of Deputies, women from responsible companies, signatories of the Diversity Charter, discussed their views with the Chairwoman of the Chamber of Deputies, Markéta Pekarova Adamová. Examples of good practice were given, as well as suggestions for the state administration on how to strengthen the position of women on the labour market.
